  ‘Would you like me to try and find him?’ I asked.

  ‘No … no, don’t do that … to be honest I’m happier without him in my life … I know the kids love to see him but it’s only ever a short stay with him and it causes more harm than good … I’d rather he was out of it all together’

  ‘OK … when can I come to see you?’ I asked.

  ‘Whenever you like … when were you thinking?’

  ‘Well I have a couple of weeks holiday due, let me see what I can do, I’ll call you tomorrow’

  ‘OK Toj’

  ‘Love to Maggie from me’ I said which got me welling up again.

  ‘I will tell her’

  ‘You look after yourself and I’ll call you tomorrow’

  ‘Thanks Toj’

  ‘I’ll call you tomorrow … bye’

  ‘Bye’ she replied in her sweet tone.

  … DADDY!

  I hope you enjoyed the adventures of Toj Parts 1 & 2. He’s part fictional, part me (not telling which parts!). They say there’s a book in everyone, well in my case that’s true as this was my first book! Why shagging? Why not! I had great fun writing it and learned so much along the way. Will I write another? Yes, and I encourage anyone that fancies giving it a go, to do so! My tips? Don’t over think it, just write what comes to you, and believe me it will, almost magically, can’t put it into words, just give it a go and you’ll see what I mean!

  I actually live in Shoeburyness (nr Southend on Sea, Essex) so the beach huts will be familiar to any readers that live there too. And the buses, good old Southend Transport (the blue buses), those were great days!
